February 17th, 2008 Hey everyone, our video for "Ethics" is done and posted in the Media section, or you can check it out on our MySpace, where you can also download the .mp3 for "Ethics" if you haven't already! February 4th, 2008 Hello all, I know it's been a really long time since we've updated this thing. Things have been pretty quiet on the Jacets' front from the outside looking in –– but rest assured we've been extremely busy. As some of you may know, we are going to be going to Austin, TX to play the Red Gorilla Music Fest which is part of Dreamscapers. This is one of the most exciting things that we've had the opportunity to do, plus it gives us a chance to gain some fans and exposure outside of the Detroit area. We recently recorded a 10 song demo with Mat Halliday of Studio Minx, whom is who we recorded our EP with, and it turned out great! Out of the 10 or so songs recorded we chose to fully develope, mix and master our song "Holiday" and release it as a downloadable single on our MySpace. So please, if you haven't already listend to it check it out –– we're all very proud of it. Lastly, we recorded a music video and re-recorded (a slightly new and improved) "Ethics" at Studio Minx with Mat Haliday. Jason Lang and Derek Anderson shot the video, while Nate Johnson will be handling the editing. We are using the "Ethics" music video to help showcase us as we go to the Red Gorilla Music Fest and to be able to help record companies put faces to the name. The song turned out phenomenal and from what I could tell the video will be great as well. The premise for the video was pretty simple, just a performance video with some in-studio footage of us recording. Both the video and the new version of "Ethics" should be posted up on here in the coming week so keep your eyes peeled for that.
